Really? My mother used to watch the captain faithfully, but I seem to remember mainly Mr. Green Jeans. And, I think, perhaps, a rabbit?
My bad: Daniel Tiger was on Mr. Rogers. There’s a portrait on this page.

I was on the PuppetBike blog (really, one post and, to date, 139 comments), and someone pointed out that one of the PB tigers looks like Daniel Striped Tiger. I’m guess Daniel was a Steiff! If they could only come back . . .
